Most of last week, young actress Amyra Dastur was in Pondicherry, shooting for her next film, Anegan, with Dhanush K. Raja. But over the weekend, the pretty lady flew back in to Mumbai and spent quality time with the the mute and hearing impaired inmates of Koshish, an educational institution for the deaf and mute.
Since the Ganesh Chaturthi festival is being celebrated in the city, Amyra and the extremely talented children had a fun time creating eco-friendly figurines of Lord Ganesha out of fruits, vegetables and clay.
With lettuce leaves for ears and carrots for a trunk, the figurines were immensely cute and fabulously crafted.
