Gucci is a label that synonymous with jet-set glamour and this spring/summer 2014 collection was no exception. Frida Giannini, creative director for Gucci sent out a collection that was sporty yet sexy and that was certainly not an oxymoron. Track suits, sweat pants that were paired with mesh triangular bra tops. Flowing kaftans and kimonos with art deco prints inspired by the artist Erté, gave a luxe feeling to the collection. Sheer panels at the back and sleeves injected plenty of sex appeal in the outfits. Models wore strappy black heels while fringing played a huge role in the accessories. Frida also introduced new version of the Bamboo bag.

Pat McGrath, make-up artist extraordinaire played up the eyes, applying a shimmery gold colour on the lids and keeping the rest of the face luminous. The hair was combed back, with a slight wet look at the crown.
