Ranbir Kapoor claims that he’s someone who doesn’t get scared of things easily – in fact, he even went as far as to say that he’s fearless. However, there is one person who he is completely scared of, even after all these years. No points for guessing that that person is none other than Ranbir’s father, Rishi Kapoor! It seems that things still haven’t changed, even though Ranbir has worked with both his parents for the upcoming film, Besharam. He claims to be just as scared of him now as he was as a child.
Ranbir told IANS:
“I don’t fear anybody except my father. I am fearless. I will fear if I don’t get opportunities…if tomorrow Imtiaz doesn’t want to work with me or Anurag Basu doesn’t want to work with me then I will be scared. I was nervous before. It’s been 30 years, and even today main apne papa se aankhen milake nahi baat kar paata.”
He does say, though, that it wasn’t as much of a problem working with his parents, since they kept their personal equation separate. According to him, they don’t bring their personal life on sets, and they don’t take their characters back home.
