We told you earlier that Pamela Chopra has decided to plan a tribute for the late Yash Chopra every year on his birthday. Now that his birthday is less than a week away – the 27th of September – more details are emerging on what the celebrations are going to be like this time around. Since YRF recently launched a Bollywood fashion label in association with Karol Bagh Saree House (KBSH), the festivities are going to surround this brand – Diva’ni.
Pam Chopra is planning on hosting a grand fashion show to showcase the collection (which is inspired by YRF’s movies) and will rope in several of Yash Chopra’s top heroines to model. Nine actresses are expected to be a part of the show, so names like Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla, Preity Zinta, Katrina Kaif, and – of course – Rani Mukerji have already been shortlisted. We’re wondering, though, whether Kajol will be a part of the celebrations. Although she’s done films with YRF, things went sour between her and the production house during the Jab Tak Hai Jaan/Son of Sardaar spat. Guess we’ll have to wait and see!
