Aldo recently hosted a unique fashion event in New Delhi at Blue Frog which was attended by the best of the fashion fraternity. The brand launched its fall/winter 2013 collection which was showcased by a hundred young models walking the ramp.
This Walk The Runway event was a perfect representation of celebration of fashion where these hundred lucky winners of a contest got the chance to walk the ramp in front of a distinguished panel of judges like Nayanika Chatterjee, fashion photographer Hemant Khendelwal and the editor of Cosmopolitan, Nandini Bhalla. Other eminent judges included Ambreen Khan, Archana Kumari and Shivjeet Khullar.
The show was choreographed by Shy Kalra and the contestants were also given grooming tips by her to walk with panache and elegance.
An interesting dimension was added to the evening’s excitement when actors Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz joined the celebrations and felicitated the winner – Preeti Dhatta – with Aldo hampers. She will also walk the ramp at a leading fashion week in Geneva as part of her prize.
