MissMalini’s Bombay Street Style Collages on Limeroad

MissMalini has been going crazy over Limeroad.com‘s range of trendy fashion goodies for the fashion hungry. But it is their fun dress-up scrapbook app that turns the entire experience into an exciting one! On Limeroad.com, you can make your own scrapbook which allows you to collage their products into complete looks. MissMalini created 4 fun looks with #BombayStreetStyle as her theme and absolutely had to share it!

The Bombay Art House Lady

She loves wearing sarees but with a quirky twist. Influenced by the kitsch and chaos from the streets of Mumbai, she chooses a colourful striped saree and wears a crop top instead of a blouse. She teams the look with bright green chappals to hang out with Mumbai’s art circuit. A kitschy truck print cloth bag completes her look with a much enjoyed quirk appeal.

The Bazaar Bandit

This new age desi girl loves her kurtas, but styles it with an edge. Her main look consists of an angrakha kurta, around which she wraps a multi-looped belt. Her choice of accessories shows off her Mumbai style and her sturdy heels emphasizes a willing commitment to fashion. She simplifies her life with a monochromatic clutch that carries her lipstick and credit cards. She is cool to mix it all up and confident to make it work.

The Proper Desi Chic

Her style is ‘proper chic with a desi twist’. Her choice of peplum top deserves an embroidered patiala shalwar. A contrasting pink belt worn over the top brings out her love for pop aesthetics. Which she further plays it with a collection of cool neck-pieces and rings to compliment her gunmetal flats. She is that proper desi-chic girl and she is fabulous!

The Bollywood Biker

Not conforming to norms, this girl loves her bike and has recently found a new love in Indian wear. But she wasn’t playing by rules when she selected this Jodhpuri style jumpsuit to work her Bombaiya look. She accessorized it with multi-chain necklace along with stacks of bangles and bracelets on both wrists. She will be riding her bike in lanes of Mumbai, so a biker jacket and ankle boots seals her look with an edge that screams, “Biker Chick!”

MissMalini loves Mumbai and its energy. Playing dress up on Limeroad embodied the charming chaos of #BombayStreetStyle and was an absolutely fun way to express that love.
