Malaika Arora Khan – when she’s not busy looking drop dead gorgeous – is a good cook who finds the process of whipping up a meal, therapeutic and a stress-buster.
Earlier today, she was spotted at the Palate Culinary Studio in Mumbai. Chef Rakhee Vaswani taught her to make party munchies like spicy barbecue chicken wings, Thai infused arancini balls, chicken/mushroom on lemon grass skewers and mini fish tequittas with a sweet and tangy fruity relish and pepper sauce.
In the past, Malaika had told us, “From not knowing how to boil water to now doing an entire meal, I think I’ve really come a long way. I was never a foodie as a kid. We just ate because it was shoved down our throat and you had to eat, like any other child. But I come from a family of outstanding cooks –they are one better than the other – and then somewhere along the way, I got hooked on to cooking shows and it kind-of got me thinking that this was something I could enjoy doing.”
