Here’s What You Can Do for Breast Cancer Research

Pink Buys for Breast Cancer Awareness

This month, we’ve actively been trying to bring attention to all our readers about Breast Cancer. We will be wearing pink to work on 18th of October as part of the initiative. If you would like to know how you can do your bit for the cause, I’ve listed some of the companies who have committed to thinking pink. Part of the sales of these certain products go towards Breast Cancer research.

Clinique Lotion
Clinique Chubby Stick

Clinique: Sales of the brand’s iconic pink chubby stick, in the shade plumped up pink, and dramatically different moisturizer will contribute to research.

Tommy Hilfiger

Tommy Hilfiger: The 7th edition of the bag is a midsize satchel-tote cross, with a midnight blue core and cherry red side panels. 1/3rd of the proceeds of the bags’ sales will be donated to Breast Health International, a leading non-profit foundation that works to advance breast cancer research and treatment.

Good Earth Serai Glasses

Good Earth: 15% of these beautiful Serai glasses from Good Earth will go towards the Ogaan Cancer Foundation.

Hard Rock Cafe

Hard Rock Cafe: Pinktober tees and pins. Patrons stand a chance to win special pink hampers through Pink it Up! Raffle Tickets while sipping on special pink drinks. The Pinktober tribute nights will be held on Thursday, 24th October 2013 at Hard Rock Cafes across Mumbai -Worli, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune and Delhi. Hard Rock Café, Andheri will host the tribute night on Wednesday, 23rd October 2013. All entry charges for these events will be donated to charity. In addition, they’re organizing a 3 km walk to help celebrate the courage of breast cancer survivors and their efforts to spread awareness. This walk is to show solidarity towards the cause of Breast Cancer. HRC Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad shall host the walk on Saturday, 26th October, 2013 at 7 am. The walk will begin and end at the cafe and all participants shall win special HRC tees.

The Closet Label

The Closet Label: 10% of all pink items from The Closet Label will go towards the Ogaan Cancer Foundation.

Kitsch

Kitsch: Snap up some pink designer duds and feel less guilty about blowing up all that cash, proceeds go towards research.
