Aamir Khan stays away from Bollywood award shows, but the actor is travelling a long way to attend an international one! He was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Sunday night, heading to Washington to attend the America Abroad Media awards. He will be honoured for his television show, Satyamev Jayate, along with American director Kathryn Bigelow and the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict (ICNC).
In an earlier statement, America Abroad Media had said: “Their work exemplifies the power of media to inform, educate and empower citizens about the critical social and public policy issues of our time.”
Here’s congratulating Aamir on his award, which he will be receiving today!
