This news is major! Priyanka Chopra has been signed on as the face of GUESS?’ global holiday campaign. Chopra joins the ranks of Laetitia Casta and Claudia Schiffer who have previously been the face for the iconic 30-year-old brand. The campaign is set to be showcased in 87 countries, proving that PC indeed has what it takes for worldwide domination.
The black and white shots have been photographed by Bryan Adams (yes, the Summer of ’69 singer) and was over seen by GUESS?’ creative director, Paul Marciano. In the campaign, Chopra portrays a movie star at home in an elegant Mediterranean villa wearing some of the season’s most stand-out dresses.
“Priyanka’s confidence, strength and sensuality reflect the qualities I always look for in a model,” said Marciano. “Priyanka reminds me of the young Sophia Loren and the top actresses of the 1950s.
