Krrish 3 is all set to hit the big screen this Friday, but now an issue has cropped up that could potentially delay the release of the film. Apparently, a writer from Madhya Pradesh has claimed that he has written the script, except he registered it under the name of Krrish 2. According to the writer, Uday Singh Rajput, he had registered the script back in 2008 and then met Rakesh Roshan to give it to him. He was allegedly promised that he’d be paid if his story was used, but now he says he hasn’t received any money and has also been denied credit for his writing.
According to TOI‘s report, Rajput has said that Rakesh Roshan has advertised himself as the scriptwriter, except that in court he has claimed it was written by a Rubin Bhatt. Rajput believes that his script was used to make the film titled Krrish 3, and has asked for a stay on the all-India release until he is paid a compensation of Rs 2 crores.
We’ll have to wait and see how this matter progresses! The applications are expected to be heard in court today.
