Sanjay Dutt, who has been on a leave of furlough since October 1st, left early this morning to return to Yerwada jail in Pune. The actor had applied earlier for a 14-day furlough on medical grounds; however, once out, he requested an additional 14 days, which was granted.
Before leaving, Sanjay Dutt wished his fans a Happy Diwali, and also commented on his health. The actor, who has been undergoing treatment for blood clots that have formed in his legs, said he is better now. However, he noted that the problem is still continuing, and has asked his fans to pray for him.
Dutt reached Yerwada jail at around 10:30am this morning, several hours before he was required to surrender.
