At the start of this blog post, I must assert that we at MissMalini, LOVE Shah Rukh Khan. Yes! We kind of adore his suave charm, his ability to call a spade a spade, his candidness. And even though he’s not a fashion mannequin, we generally like his style which is defined by being effortless.
But for the opening of a jewelry store in Mumbai yesterday, we think the Badshah of Bollywood forgot to look in the mirror before he left Mannat.
How else can you explain his look? While we have absolutely no issues had SRK stuck to just a simple white shirt and black pants, we think the tie worn loosely around his neck does nothing to enhance his look. It looks forced – like he’s trying to channel a nineteen year old college boy.
Also, we think a shave might have helped him look a bit more spiffy!
