She’s barely two films old in Bollywood and yet, Nargis Fakhri is one of the most sought after stars to grace a fashion event.
The leggy lady recently walked the ramp as celebrity show-stopper for designer Nachiket Barve at a fashion event in Mumbai and dazzled in a red chiffon gown.
Team MissMalini spoke to her after the show and here’s what she told us…
Here are some highlights from our interview:
Team MissMalini: You have walked for so many fashion designers around the globe. How was Nachiket’s show different from the others?
Nargis Fakhri: The thing that makes any show different is the designer and their clothes. And how you feel in it. I actually felt amazing. This dress I’m wearing is absolutely gorgeous, they way it just flows and floats. I felt light in it. I loved the colour too. I felt so powerful, yet elegant, at the same time.
Team MM: Do you ever fear tripping-up on the ramp when you wear these long dresses?
NF: Yes!I Get worried all the time. I get very nervous and excited.
Nachiket Barve: Life is all about how you trip and how you get up after that. If there were no trips, where would the fun be?
Team MM: Nachiket, how would you style Nargis if you had the opportunity to, for a film?
NB: I guess it would mostly depend on the character she is playing. But I think for someone like Nargis, less is more! There is an impeccable, immaculate beauty to her, so I would keep it as minimal and as clean as possible.
Team MM: What is the beauty and fitness regime which you follow?
NF: To tell you the truth, it’s just a positive, mental attitude and I guess, good genes! But it’s also about living a healthy lifestyle. Eating healthy, drinking lots of water, sleeping, definitely working out. Even skin care is important. Washing, cleansing, toning and moisturising are so important.
Team MM: What Bollywood films are you currently working on?
NF: I’ve almost finished Mein Tera Hero with Varun Dhawan and that’s been really exciting and fun. It’s been such a pleasure working with him. I’m now looking forward to working on the remake of Shaukeen.
