On Tuesday afternoon I flew to Delhi to attend Cosmopolitan India’s backstage party for TRESemmé at The Foyer, Olive and it was SO much fun! First up the weather was just incredibly cool and loads of Delhi’s party peeps were out and about including JJ Valaya, Anju Modi, Falguni & Shane Peacock, Shantanu & Nikhil Mehra, Anupama Dayal, Gaurav Gupta, Amit Aggarwal, Thenny Mejia, Ramola Bachchan, Raakesh Agarvwal, Poonam Bhagat, Rina Dhaka, Nida Mahmood, Sanjay Sharma, Sujal Shah & Surelee Joseph.
My favorite part of course was the unique live theatre “backstage” theme and decor complete with clothes racks, mood boards, hair & makeup stations, cocktails served in plastic cups and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week shows by Falguni & Shane Peacock, Rebecca Minkoff and Vivienne Tam being projected on three giant screens. Meanwhile models(in bathrobes (with curlers in their hair!) rushed around being fitted in Falguni & Shane Peacock’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection practicing their choreography amidst the guests! Très chic TRESemmé.
In fact I did my bit to get into the backstage mood and had my hair and makeup done right at there at the party too, you like? 🙂

Special props to my new dip kid pal – Nayantara Sood (dressed in another shade of purple!) It’s always SUCH a delight to meet a fellow diplobrat. Especially one who designs shoes! 🙂 #FTW
Of course everybody knows that all the REAL action happens BACKSTAGE at fashion week. And that’s where I usually get all my gossip too, so I LOVE that Cosmopolitan threw us a party that felt just like that! Oh and Nandini Bhalla I loved your black and red Amit Aggarwal ensemble. In fact it looks like all the Cosmo girls were feeling RED HOT that night 🙂
