It suddenly seems to be bikini season in Bollywood and the best part is that no one is complaining.

After Soha Ali Khan took the plunge and sported a bikini from her own collection in her upcoming film, Mr. Joe B Carvalho, German import Evelyn Sharma shows off her curves in a sexy red bikini in a song – Sunny Sunny – for her upcoming film, Yaariyan.

Sunny Sunny has been composed, written and performed by Yo Yo Honey Singh while the female vocals have been rendered by Neha Kakkar.

Apart from Evelyn, the video features the rest of the cast that includes Himansh Kohli, Rakul Preet, Serah Singh, Dev Sharma, Nicole Faria and Shreyas Pardiwalla.

Watch the hot and catchy song here:

Team MissMalini spoke exclusively to Evelyn Sharma about the making of the video and here’s what she told us:

Team MissMalini: Where did you all shoot for such a colourful and preppy song?
Evelyn Sharma: We shot major portions of the song in Cape Town in South Africa and a few shots with Honey Singh were shot locally at Madh Island in Mumbai.

Team MM: Tell us about your role in the film.
ES: My role is that of the popular college sweetheart. The story line revolves around a love angle with the hero, played by Himansh Kohli. Everybody in the cast is a newcomer and this is Himansh’s Bollywood debut.

Team MM: Why did the song require you to wear a two-piece swimsuit?
ES: It was meant to look sexy and glamorous. Hence, the choice of a red bikini. It was chosen by the stylist, Christina.

Team MM: Were you comfortable shooting in a bikini in front of so many people?
ES: The funny thing is that when you are shooting in a bikini, you always think, “Am I looking fat?” Nothing else matters except for the the fact that you have to look your toned and curvaceous best.

Team MM: So what did you do to keep your body toned for this shoot?
ES: Interestingly, when I was told that I had to wear a bikini, I hit the gym with a vengeance and worked out for months. But the shoot kept getting delayed and I got busy with other projects like Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani, where we shot in the mountains. I had no access to the gym there.

Also, when we finally went to Cape Town to shoot this song, we were having so much fun that no one watched what they were eating.

So I literally I had to do quick tone-up exercises to look as fit as possible.

Team MM: And finally, what is Yo Yo Honey Singh like, to work with?
ES: (Giggles) Oh, he is very flirty and very cool. He’s great fun to be around. He would keep splashing us with water even after the shot was finished.
