Ah, there has been so much talk of the Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif wedding recently! Even though Ranbir said on the latest Koffee With Karan episode that he will come out and speak about a relationship once he’s engaged to be married, there are many who believe that Ranbir and Katrina are already secretly engaged but not making it public yet. Kareena Kapoor Khan, of course, added fuel to that fire when she made her intentions clear on the episode – not only did she refer to Kat as her sister-in-law, but she also said that she’s planning on dancing to Chikni Chameli, Sheila Ki Jawaani and “all superhit songs of Katrina Kaif” at Ranbir’s wedding, whenever it should happen.
In fact, it seems like Ranbir is even ready to tie the knot – when asked to react to the word “marriage,” he responded simply with, “hopefully soon.” But if it’s Katrina he’s intending on marrying, then he may have to wait a bit, because the actress isn’t ready! At the Dhoom: 3 press conference, Katrina was asked when she’s planning on taking the big step, and replied very firmly saying that it wouldn’t be anytime soon:
“I am not getting married or engaged to anyone soon. You can lock it. It’s final. I am not getting married to anyone. I don’t know if it will happen in 10 or 20 years or so.”
She also played off Kareena’s statements on Koffee With Karan as a joke, which is why it was extra funny when she was asked what song she would like to dance to at Ranbir’s wedding. She said that, should the opportunity ever arise, she’d pick the title track of Besharam.
So, um… does she just like the song or is she hinting something here?
