The year 2013 saw a number of celebrities (minor and major) involved in a few cringe-worthy circumstances which left some of them saying “Oops!”
While a few of them were unknowingly drawn into the controversy, others seem self-created.
Team MissMalini takes a look at some of those oops! moments from 2013.
AMEESHA PATEL:
Ameesha Patel needs a crash course in dressing well. Simply pouring herself into figure-hugging dresses does not ensure she looks stylish.
At an event to promote one of her films, she stepped out looking like an… errr… you get the drift. Let’s hope 2014 sees her reading up on the Do’s and Dont’s of fashion so that she can spare us more of these horrors.
RAKHI SAWANT:
While nothing that Rakhi Sawant does is known to be tasteful, this appearance of hers had us cringing in our seats. The wannabe starlet wore this “ensemble” to the music launch of Pyar Jhukta Nahi and showed off more than anyone bargained for!
MONA SINGH:
Who knew that a homely girl like Mona Singh would be embroiled in an MMS scandal? Everybody’s favourite Jassi was seen strolling about her house, naked, in a clip that was obviously taken many moons ago (no pun intended)!
While the world tried blaming boyfriend Vidyut Jammwal for circulating the clip to get some publicity for his film, Commando, it was evident that this MMS was taken years earlier, simply because Mona looks much younger in it.
PS: Mona officially denied it was her in the MMS. Sigh!
EVA LONGORIA:
Celebrities need to realise that when they wear dresses that reveal more than is necessary, more than what is necessary will be revealed. And that’s exactly what happened to Eva Longoria at the Golden Globes this year.
When Longoria bent down to untangle her gown that had got stuck in her shoes, the stunning actress showed off more than she had bargained for. The plunging neckline of her gown fell forward revealing her right breast.
ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITLEY:
A similar incident happened to Rosie Huntington-Whitley at the recent British Fashion Awards. Maybe she forgot to put double-sided tape on the inside of her jacket and that’s what caused her right breast to pop out of her jacket at an inopportune moment.
KATRINA KAIF:
And finally, just last month, wearing this pretty pink dress, Katrina Kaif suffered a few oops moments at the launch of the Dhoom Macha Le song. While adjusting her dress as she perched on a high stool, Katrina unintentionally showed off her matching knickers.
This is unfortunately not the first time Katrina has had an issue with a mini dress/skirt in public and let’s hope 2014 will see her being a little more careful when she’s on a public platform!
