Remember MissMalini’s fun shoot with Koecsh? She had such a blast in her clothes that she decided to work out another look by them and this time, we went the desi rock way! For her Globetrekker pub shoot that started at the Manish Malhotra‘s fabulous store in Mumbai, she worked a sexy alternative in a black crop top that was chained to an ox blood toned maxi skirt. This black crop top with an ox blood maxi skirt had that rock and roll edge with a chain binding the top and the skirt, aptly called Chain Me Down. It is also available in a black/white combination. For the shoot, we wanted to show a fun edgy side to desi fashion and this look by Koecsh fit the brief perfectly with its balance between an Indian sensibility and rock ‘n’ roll vibe.
Sushil and Sarika from Smashh Salon worked out a hair and makeup look that was sexy and beautifully blended with the outfit. The wavy tussled hair with a twisted braid on one side and dark kohl-ed eyes were both mystical and playful.
Malini then wore Koecsh for our Team MissMalini Friday Dress-up, where we worked looks inspired by fashion icons. Malini’s look was a take on Katy Perry‘s fun style and she chose this sea shell black cut out dress. I styled the look with a neon pink band that had little doggies on it and purple socks with pink H&M pumps.
