Kareena Kapoor Khan may have settled down to marital bliss but that’s not slowing her down when it comes to films. This year, she featured in the movie, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein and shook her tooh to that hip shaking number from the film. 2014 sees her making a cameo in Happy New Year while she has meaty roles in Shuddhi and Bombay Samurai.
Coming back to her style, last year, she impressed us with her promo run for Heroine wearing Ungaro and Osman. This year, she scored her second Vogue and third Grazia cover and appeared with husband Saif Ali Khan on the Harper’s Bazaar India. She even walked the ramp for Namrata Joshipura’s Grand Finale collection for LFW summer/resort.
In Soup by Sougat Paul:
In one of her most refreshing desi looks, Kareena Kapoor Khan wore a fresh off the runway Soup by Sougat Paul sari to unveil her Filmfare cover. The halter-neck blouse and purple, ochre and black sari looked fantastic on her.
In Tom Ford:
To unveil the book she co-wrote, Kareena Kapoor: Confessions of a Style Diva, Khan looked fierce wearing a Tom Ford sheath dress that she wore with a statement metal belt. Black peep toe pumps completed her look. What stunned us were her bold red lips.
In Verb by Pallavi Singhee:
This one was probably the stand out look for me from this year. The black and grey outfit could be drab or wash out some people but not Kareena. She stood tall and poised and worked the hell out of the maxi dress. Her hair and make-up were flawless as usual.
At the airport:
Many of you will be surprised that I chose this look, but I think it’s the perfect example of how to look pulled together and comfortable while travelling. The structured blue jacket layered with the necklace and that yummy fringed bag show us how exactly it’s done.
In Monisha Jaising:
For her appearance on Koffee With Karan, Kareena wore a curve skimming hot pink strapless gown from Monisha Jaising. Love the uncut diamond necklace, and the draped detail on the gown.
