There’s a new foodie destination in town, and we’re excited about this one because they do brunch yay! The Long & Short, The GastroBar, at Intercontinental Hotel on Marine Drive in Mumbai, is open for business, and you must check it out!

Based on the concept of fun dining, the restaurant has a chic living-room vibe, and will feature a mix of of live acts and DJs through the week. We especially love the unique open terrace, overlooking the Mumbai Promenade.
The menu was meticulously planned featuring a collection of small plates ‘shorts’, and full dishes ‘longs’. Speaking on the inspiration behind the menu, their GM says, “From the streets of the big apple where we sampled some of the more innovative interpretations of classic comfort foods to the noisy Soi’s of Bangkok redolent with pungent aromas we picked the best of these as inspirations for this offering.” Chef Paul added, “Our own country has so much on offer that we have drawn ideas from the soul of many cities ‘khau gallis’ and ‘bazaars’ as well to bring balance to this offering. The menu blends familiar tastes with an exotic epicurean curiosity.”
The soul of L&S is the 40 foot bar that runs along the edge of the whole restaurant, for that London-meets-New-York-meets-Mumbai feel! Try their handcrafted cocktails containing fresh herbs, flowers, citrus juices, and syrups, including the signature martinis and the Mojito jars. Add that to a list of over 25 beers, a robust wine selection, and a strong list of scotches… something for everyone!
L&S is open from 7am onward daily, with breakfast until 10:30, and a creative corner for the live talent, stand-up, and music.Every day from 5pm-8pm is Happy Hour or as they call it, “Mood Adjustment Hour” 🙂 featuring drink specials and discounts.
