Beauty Report: Under Eye Baggage

I was never one to have an elaborate night regime, my lazy girls theory was that it was the ideal time for my skin to breathe. So, I would just wash my face, use an eye makeup remover and go to bed. I would wake up thinking all the “breathing time” I gave my skin would make me look extra fresh in the morning… but that didn’t happen! What bothered me the most was that my eyes looked puffy and drained. I went on a quest for the ultimate under eye cream cure; after trying a few different ones, I found one I can personally say has made a difference-Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye. It has a soft texture which left my eyes feeling light.

2100

Here’s a little background on some of the essential oils that are used by Kiehl’s in this cream:

Jojoba Seed Oil – This oil is most known for its anti-aging properties. It also easily absorbs into your skin, making it just right to use on delicate areas.. like under your eyes 🙂

Sunflower Seed Oil – Light in texture and scent, because sunflowers are grown without the use of pesticides, it is free of chemicals therefore not only nourishing for you but for the earth too (YAY)!

Lavender Oil – In relation to health & wellness, lavender oil has been around for a long time. It is naturally very calming and heals dark circles.

Suggested amount to use on each eye, I apply it with either my index finger or ring finger, gently patting it following the shape of my under eye.

Recover Well (:
