Ways to rock print on print with LimeRoad.com

Are prints your thing? Here are 5 flawlessly cool ways for you to go print heavy. After blissfully browsing through LimeRoad.com’s line up of clothes, bags, shoes and accessories, we’ve shortlisted a few printed options to build looks around. We chose a few statement pieces and mixed them with a few basics. All this, using the the Limeroad scrapbook app (which we’re hooked on to!). Here’s presenting a few ways to rock the ‘print-on-print’ look.

This bright orange floral shirt with a mandarin collar has quite the potential to be a crowd puller, and would look great with a floral skirt. Since we are playing with two floral elements, it is key to maintain a sharp balance. The shirt is loud in its colour tone, but it matches the bold graphic nature of the skirt. And keeping the same line of thought, we evened out the orange in the top with the white and blue tones in the skirt and its hint of orange.

The deep blue/green wedges and the beaded neck-piece are perfect to play up the bright and fresh vibe of the look.

Indian wear, even casually, is great to play out the print-on-print look. This striped kurta teamed with a pair of horizontally striped Patiala-styled pants makes an interesting picture. To even out the geometric lines in the look, a plain white dupatta with a double stripe border and brown beaded chappals seem like a wise choice and look cute too!

Round off this look with a choker to match the line story in the look.

Now for a more casual approach with this rad Ozzy graphic tee (which itself is ultra cool). But you could play it funky with a pair of printed bottoms and these blue suede boots.

This look calls for a quirky touch, so these feather earrings and a stark black wooden bangle fit in perfectly.

And this one’s for all you bohemian girls! This tie-and-dye printed maxi has that earthy, rustic look. All it needs is a tribal art print scarf in monochrome and a hint of old school quirk brought in with a grey pair of loafers.

In an attempt to keep the boho/gypsy vibe of the look, this leather envelope clutch and an earthy stoned neck-piece do the trick.

Not too kicked about print on print? Well, here’s what you can do to cheat. This printed crop top is super cute and can hide behind a chic printed trench coat. And you can let it play peek-a-boo! Balance this look with these trusty blue jeans and pair of black loafers.

This could be a cool day look and it’s best kept simple. Just add a textured hand bag in black to match the shoes and you’re set!
