Amruta Khatavkar
SulaFest

Gear up party peeps! SulaFest is back for their 7th year of intoxicating music, wine and food at the Sula Vineyards open air amphitheater. Make sure you have blocked your dates on February 1st & 2nd for SulaFest 2014, and don’t forget to say hello to MissMalini if you spot her there! Here are 5 things we’re most looking forward to at SulaFest 2014:

The Music

Sula Fest

This year’s SulaFest line-up has an excellent mix of Indian and international artists – more international artists than ever before! Here’s who you can listen to over some fine wines:
Gypsy All Stars (Latin (& featuring Rajasthani folk) Spain/France
Dub Pistols (Dub, Reggae, Hip Hop) UK
Shpongle (Electronica, World ) UK
Avial (Rock, Folk-rock) India
Susheela Raman (World, alternative) India/UK
The Dualers (Ska, Funk) UK
Winit Tikoo (Indie, Sufi) India
Baycity Lights (Soul, Funk, R&B) India
Vasuda Sharma (Folk, Indo-western fusion) India
Gaudi Live (Ragga-tronic, Dub, Bass, Live-electronic) UK
DJ Anna (Tech-house & Techno) Brazil
Ankytrixx (Tech House & Techno) India
Tom Peppe (Hip Hop) Brazil

The Stay

Sula Fest

You can stay at the beautiful Beyond Vineyard Resort. For reservations and packages, please visit Sula Vineyards website. This year, they have also arranged for the awesome “Tent City” experience where you can camp out in the lush green vineyards, and shared buses and taxis by Grallo to get you to and from the venues.

The Bazaar

Sula Fest

Shopaholics can spice up their wardrobes with some super fun clothes and accessories from the ‘SulaFest Bazaar’ like antiques by Scherezad, exclusive SulaFest merchandise, clothes and accessories from “I stole it”, wine accessories from “Dozo Services”, bags from “Princess K” & “Big Bag Theory” and lots more! You can also get a foot massage, maybe get a tattoo, or find out what the tarot card reader has to say about your future.

The Food, Wine and Fashion

Sula Fest

Their food includes 12 different cuisines, befitting a true “Gourmet” fest. Wine and fashion always go hand in hand, but if you aren’t a big wine drinker, fear not! You can taste some other delectable offerings from Remy Cointreau, Grant’s, Mount Gay, Hendrick’s and Asahi among others. Vineet Gautam – Country Head – Vero Moda said “We see SulaFest as a platform for confluence of all things fashionable, be it wine, music or style, hence it’s a perfect place for us to launch a new sub brand of VERO MODA – Noisy May, a fast fashion denim brand. Also, the elementary synergy between wine and fashion is very exciting, so we are really looking forward to a fruitful association at both ends”.

The Grape Stomping

Sula Fest

Grape stomping with your friends is something that you just cannot give a miss at the SulaFest.
