Good news for all the fashionistas! Marchesa has finally been launched in India. The Blue Bar at Taj Palace, New Delhi celebrated its 5th year anniversary with the launch of this luxury brand. The American label has been brought to India by Kitsch, a leading multi brand concept store.

For obvious reasons, the crème de la crème crowd of the capital was present to celebrate this occasion. The evening was a great blend for all the foodies and shopaholics as they were served with dishes like Malay Prawn Satay Spiced Lamb Skewers with Minted Yoghurt and Chilli Fried Mushrooms amongst others. Celebrities and socialites like Kalyani Chawla, Gaurav Gupta, Malini Ramani, Sanjay Kapoor, Jas Arora and Priyanka Sethi made the big night even bigger.

Marchesa is most famous for its high-end women’s wear and is based in New York, established by British designers and models Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig. It is a favourite of Hollywood A-listers like Kerry Washington, Anne Hathaway and Olivia Wilde and we hope to see it become popular amongst our celebs too.
