Farhan Akhtar channelled his inner rock star in front of thousands of fans when he performed at Alegria – The Festival of Joy, organised by the Mahatma Education Society.
Having just bagged the Best Actor Award at the Filmfare Awards, Farhan, who performed with his band, sang some of his more popular tracks from films like Rock On, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and a couple of acoustic tunes as well.
Needless to add, the young college students were enthralled by the performance and sang along with Farhan with gusto.

Farhan began his singing career with Abhishek Kapoor‘s Rock On! in 2008. He played the lead singer of a band called Magik and sang five songs in the film. What’s more is that not only did he write the dialogues for the songs, but he also played the guitar – something he had learnt to play a few years earlier.
He will next be seen on the big screen in Shaadi Ke Side Effects where he plays Vidya Balan’s husband. The film releases at the end of February.
