On January 27th, the couple tied the knot. Their wedding was a large scale event as compared to their former party. It was a completely traditional Indian ceremony. They also followed the Holy Hindu pheras ritual and married at midnight. The couples’ families from all over the globe, from places such as England, America, Scotland, Australia, Pakistan, Russia and of course, India were present at the function.

The bride got emotional at the pheras and was rather uncomfortable about it but her supportive spouse ensured that she didn’t feel like that for long. Raageshwari seemed to share a very emotional and heart-rending bond with her parents and brother. She looked too beautiful despite the sadness she might have felt. In the ceremony before the wedding, she wore a peach organza chaniya choli. The outfit was especially designed to be simple and fresh, so that she could easily walk around and meet people.

The entire event was very refreshing as the bride and the groom did not capture all the attention by standing on some stage. Instead, they were found mingling with the guests. The decorations seemed nothing less than perfect as the shehnais played and the smell of the rajnigandha and mogra flowers lingered in the atmosphere, all of this complemented with the Peshwari food.

Raageshwari said in an interview, “It’s incredible to see the people around us so happy. I guess they were tired of seeing us single. It’s our first time in holy matrimony and we look at each other and affirm; ‘Now I know why I waited for so long.” The couple has decided to move to London after tying the knot and she added, “Shifting to London has also been a very tough decision — it still is! My parents are my twin-souls. But it’s only his work as a human rights Barrister that made me take the plunge. The fact that he cares for people and wants to make this world a better place makes me deeply happy.”

We wish this gorgeous lady a happy married life!
