Guess who?
Guess who?

Yesterday, in Mumbai, a lot of people’s dreams may have come true when they arrived at the Gateway of India on a sight-seeing tour, only to find a famous Bollywood director on a shooting spree.

If you haven’t guessed who it is already, we can safely reveal that is was none other than everybody’s favourite coffee buddy, Karan Johar.

Dressed in a black churidar-kurta and simple sandals, Johar was in the vicinity to shoot a segment of a television reality show, called Mission Sapne.

To be released later in the year, the concept of the show is that celebrities spend a day on the roads of Mumbai, doing things that common vendors do.

They play the role of the common man for the day and experience the hardships these vendors have to face on a day-to-day basis.

So while some, like Karan’s protege Sidharth Malhotra, spent a day selling vegetables just like a bhaajiwala, Karan spent the day being a photographer of tourists at the iconic Bombay landmark, the Gateway of India.

The Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham director was in his element as he photographed the tourists and many of them crowded around him for a photo-op as well.

The money Karan earned as a photographer through the day will be used as funds to help those who have a huge problem in making ends meet.
