It’s hard for us to imagine life without good food. We’re always on the lookout for new eateries, so we did a little happy dance when we heard PizzaExpress is launching its new restaurant in BKC. Here are our top 7 picks from their authentic Italian fare!
1) Dough Balls Doppio
One thing you simply cannot miss at PizzaExpress are their warm doppios. You can tell the dough is freshly baked as it simply melts in your mouth. Garlic butter, pesto sauce and pesto rossa make for perfect accompaniments.
2) Calabrese
The most popular pizza on the menu is inspired by a region in Italy called Calabria. The Italian and spicy sausages are combined with finely chopped red chillies, jalapenos, red & yellow peppers and mozzarella. It’s finished with baby mozzarella, rocket, pesto, oregano and emilgrana. This one’s a party on your palette!
3) Veneziana (Romana Pizza)
This pizza has been a part of PizzaExpress since its inception in 1965, inspired by Venice. The Veneziana’s unique ingredients work brilliantly together: pine kernels, sultanas, olives, red onions, capers and mozzarella.
4) Bosco Salad
Whoever said healthy is boring has never tasted the Bosco salad at PizzaExpress. Made of warm mushrooms, avocados, roasted tomatoes, spinach, rocket, balsamic syrup, honey and mustard dressing, this “Boss” of a salad is served with freshly baked warm bread sticks.
5) Tagliatelle Pollo Bolognese
This dish is a twist on the classic Bolognese. Finely diced chicken breast, cooked with tomato ragu and a hint of chilli work perfectly together and the dish is served with tagliatelle and shaved emilgrana.

7) Dolcetti
Mini is In! Dolcetti, or mini desserts at PizzaExpress, are perfectly paired with coffee. Their Mini Chocolate Fudge Make is a delicious treat and their Caffe Reale is a unique combination of cinnamon figs served with mascarpone.
