They are glamorous and beautiful and undoubtedly among the hottest women in the entertainment industry. But shockingly (and just like the rest of us lesser mortals), they too have had some strange Valentine’s Day experiences.

Read what Sonal Chauhan, Mahek Chahal, Anushka Manchanda and Evelyn Sharma had to tell us:

“Unfortunately for some reason or the other, I’ve never had a good Valentine’s Day. And that’s only because I am either working or I’m home alone doing nothing but watching a movie and ironically, a romantic movie at that because that’s what they end up playing on all television channels on V-Day (hang them please). I’ve had a bad run with Valentine’s Day so far, so I hope it’s better this time (it better be). God has a lot of making up to do!”

“I used to date this guy who was so self-obsessed that even on Valentine’s Day, I was the one who had to shower him with flowers, cook him dinner, give him gifts or take him for a holiday. He was a so-called man who didn’t do all this girly stuff and it ended with me dumping him for good, once I understood what a jerk he was.

My big heart and me understood what an ugly human he was only after I dumped him. Now, I shower myself with all the gifts on V-Day. At least none of them will go to waste!”

EVELYN SHARMA – MODEL; ACTRESS

“My worst Valentine’s Day experience must have been when I agreed to go on a blind date with a guy who my friends had set me up with! He was so boring that I almost fell asleep into my dessert. I have never been on a blind date since that horrible experience.”

“Frankly, I don’t really celebrate it or have ever bought a card for anyone either. Even in school, I never celebrated it. Valentine’s Day is just a few days after my birthday, so I end up having all the fun on my birthday. By the time V-Day comes, I’m over the euphoria of celebration.

But I did have a funny experience when I was in the girl band, Viva. One of my band mate’s boyfriends sent her a huge teddy bear that was taller than me (and I’m really tall). It took up so much space that I actually felt like I was living with two people in the same room. It was a bit strange!”
