Young designer Harsh Gupta hosted a preview of his summer 2014 collection in Mumbai over the weekend and had a couple of his celebrity and Bollywood clientele model his creations.
Among them were Aditi Rao Hydari, Ramona Arena, Tanishaa Mukerji and Sophie Choudry.
Says Harsh, “This collection has been inspired by the work of Daniel Buren, a French conceptual artist who is best known for his contrasting stripes, colour juxtaposition and interesting site-specific installations. He is also classified as an abstract minimalist. Through my summer collection, I’ve presented a range of ideas and design elements from his vast reportoire of work & re-presented them in an interesting and sporty manner to create a fun, high-street summer look.”

Ramona arena
Ramona wears a dress from an upcoming capsule collection which is inspired by Madhubani paintings. The art work is digitally printed on silk and Harsh has got some of the artists to create special prints for his line.
sophie choudry
Sophie wears a dress from Harsh’s evening wear collection. Defined by the the monochromatic trend of black and white, this off-shoulder dress features a rose print.
Tanishaa mukerji
Perfect for a bright summer day is this catchy halter-neck dress in egg-shell blue.
