The actress, who is the global ambassador for UNAIDS, told the organisation that she is unable to attend an upcoming medical seminar on the topic, which is to be held sometime in March. I have heard that when the organisers approached her, they were told that those dates of hers were already blocked off and so she cannot make it for that event.
A source related to the event told me, on the basis of anonymity, that Aishwarya is obligated to attend such seminars in her capacity as the ambassador, to talk about AIDS and other issues. But it seems like her calendar is full as of now. Possibly there is an announcement coming of an upcoming film project of hers that will keep her busy?
