While our very own MissMalini was hobnobbing with Hollywood stars at the Independent Film Spirit Awards in Los Angeles, Sid Mallya rubbed shoulders with none other than Doogie Howser M.D and How I Met Your Mother star, Neil Patrick Harris, at Elton John‘s annual fund raising party for AIDS awareness, post the Oscar Awards.
The party saw some of Hollywood’s A-list stars in attendance like Heidi Klum, Donatella Versace, Dave Franco, Vanessa Hudgens, Jane Fonda and the Kardashian sisters among many others.
Sid put up the photo of him and Neil on Instagram and wrote:
“I defo wear my suit better than Barney Stinson!!! Neil Patrick Harris u legend… #SuitUp #EltonJohnAidsFoundation”
In case you missed it, back in December 2013, Sid had dropped over to the MissMalini HQ and in the course of an interview, he told her, “I’m in Los Angeles taking acting classes and getting into that world. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, it’s something I’ve always been interested in doing as well. But you know, having been born into this family, expected to do the family business, which I gave it a go, didn’t enjoy it. I moved on. I always wanted to do, sort of, Tom Cruise’s films. His character of Mitch McDeere in The Firm and Maverick in Top Gun.”
