If you’ve been following our coverage of Lakme Fashion Week, you know that all the celebrity action has been taking place at the exclusive Stoli Lounge. Stoli (short for Stolichnaya), is all about originality. Their tagline is “The Most Original People Deserve The Most Original Vodka“. So Team MissMalini has been speaking to some of the celebrities in the lounge, asking about what makes them original.

See what they had to say!

Team MM:  What makes you original?

Anushka Manchanda: What makes me original is the fact that I’m not shy of saying what I think.

Team MM: What are the most original fashion shows that you have seen?

AM: I have not watched too many shows this season but I remember one of Gaurav Gupta’s shows, where there was this big head on the ramp and when it parted down the middle, the models emerged from within it.

Team MissMalini: What makes you original?

Adhuna Akhtar: My earring! My haircut! My name! My earring was gifted to me by one of our students and we adapted it ourselves, by introducing some of the elements from Asmita Marwah’s collection, which she showcased today.

Team MM: What are the most original fashion shows that you have seen?

AA: I think one of the most fun and original fashion shows I’ve seen is Manish Arora in Paris. He had this fantastic display of our Indian dabbas. It was an amazing show. It was a great experience.

Team MM:  What makes you original?

Pooja Bedi: My smile makes me original. My personality makes me original. The fact that I can wake up in the morning, super happy and super charged everyday of my life, makes me original. And the fact that I can drive my friends insane, makes me original.

Team MM: What are the most original fashion shows that you have seen?

PB: I would say that it was a show where my daughter – Alia Furniturewalla – walked not as a show-stopper but as a show beginner. It was a beautiful show by Pallavi Jaipur and took place around five years ago. She looked like a little princess.
