So, today was the release of Ek Villain‘s first poster. The movie stars Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh and Amrita Puri in lead roles.
The film is produced under Ekta Kapoor’s banner Balaji Motion Pictures and directed by Mohit Suri. Sidharth and Shraddha will be seen sharing screen space for the very first time here. They make a very good looking couple, don’t they? Suri also directed one of the most romantic films of 2013, “Aashiqui 2”. So our expectations are really high for this one!
This one is a musical romantic thriller. However, there has been a lot of confusion amongst the makers regarding the title of the film. Earlier, the movie was titled “The Villain” and now it is called “Ek Villain”. If rumour mills are to be believed, the makers are again having a change of thought. The movie is going to be re-titled “Bindaas Baddie“.
That changes my perception of the character in the film. Seems like I’ll have to conjure up different stories in my head now with relevance to this new title 😛 The movie is all set to release on June 27th.
