The launch of the Just Cavalli perfumes in Mumbai saw a glamorous turn-out of Mumbai’s well-heeled party hearties and among them was actor Harman Baweja.
Sans girlfriend Bipasha Basu by his side, Harman was happy to mix with the rest of the guests and was even seen chatting amiably with a number of his friends from the industry.
But this being the launch of a fragrance, we of course, couldn’t resist asking Harman: What is your earliest memory of emotion associated with fragrance?
We gave him the option to tell us about his grandmother’s favourite soap or his mother’s favourite scent. But instead, he delighted us with a far more candid memory.
Says Harman exclusively to us, “When I was a young boy in Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai, we – all the boys in the class – had a crush on this one particular teacher. She wore a floral scent which wafted down the corridors when she walked. And when she entered the classroom, it was like we were sitting in a bed of roses. She wore the sweetest smelling perfume that I can remember and even as I talk to you, I can subconsciously still smell it!”
Take a look at a few of the other hotties we spotted at this haute soiree:
The night of this event was also Terence Lewis’ birthday and he was seen basking in the endless wishes and kisses that were showered upon him by all the leggy ladies. Here’s wishing him a fab year ahead from Team MissMalini as well.
Looking dapper in a linen suit and pastel orange shirt, actor Ashmit Patel cut a dashing figure. We like this semi-formal look on him. Agree?
Model couple Candice Pinto and Asif Azim looked drop dead gorgeous, together. She wore a cleavage revealing gown by Falguni & Shane Peacock while he cut a sharp figure in a three piece suit. We only wish he’d opted for black shoes instead of brown.
Statesque and stunning Dipti Gujral was undoubtedly the best dressed lady at this party. We loved the sexy wrap-dress that fitted her like a glove and those pretty open-toe heels.
Actress Mugdha Godse rocked a red-carpet look in an ensemble by Namrata Joshipura. The understated gold looks lovely on Mugdha’s honey complexion.
Showing off her sexy curves in a black crop-top and tights was Nishka Lulla. A bright green knot clutch by Bottege Veneta added a splash of vivid colour to her look. Like?
And finally, decked out in a bubblegum pink dress was actress Rashmi Nigam, who told us that it’s all about dressing right for the summer. “The bright coloured, sleeveless, knee-length dress must be your summer staple this season,” she advises.
