There is only one word to describe the Farhan Live concert in Singapore on Sunday. The word is INCREDIBLE!
This was definitely a fabulous night for everyone who attended, and for those of you who missed it, Team MissMalini was in Singapore to cover the power-packed concert and bring back all the highlights for you! Here’s why we thought it was a night to remember:
Farhan Live has been mainly performing in India, and has even done a few shows in Dubai. However, this was the first ever time that the band performed in South East Asia, specifically Singapore. Bollywood has a huge following in South East Asia, especially in countries like Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. Fans in these countries have been canvassing for Farhan Live to visit this region, so for them, it was like a dream come true – Farhan Akhtar took their wishes to heart and made it happen for the fans here.
One super lucky fan, Esha Kaur, was invited on stage to sing the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara number, Senorita with Farhan and Shannon (Vocalist). This will surely be one of the most memorable moments for the fan girl who was clearly over the moon. And the rest of us had a great time watching on!
I might have said this before, but Farhan Akhtar is a real rockstar. He completely got the crowd going crazy. It is evident that Farhan is totally subscribed to this idea and does it with his heart and soul completely. His energy is extremely contagious! The crowd went crazy when Farhan suddenly appeared with guitarist Sarosh at level 2 of the theatre. It is rare for artists performing at the Esplanade’s Theatre to go to that extent to be with their fans. But Farhan did it and surely won the hearts of everyone in the audience.
The Esplande’s Theatre was a total treat. The theatre is an adaptation of the traditional horseshoe form of European opera houses, which provides an intimate setting between the audience and the artists on stage. It is an astounding venue.
Teamwork Productions Singapore did a fabulous job in organising the Farhan Live concert – the packed auditorium roared like never before!
