Mark your calendars and get set to exercise your credit cards. Designer Mayyur R Girotra is all set to unveil his flagship store in Khar, Mumbai. Known for bridal wear and dressing celebrities like Sunny Leone, Amrita Rao and Deepika Padukone for red carpet events, he launched his label in 2009 and has earned the title of King of Jamavar.
At the launch, he will play host to his friends from Bollywood such as Karisma Kapoor, Sunny Leone, Amrita Rao, Terence Lewis, Rashmi Nigam, Anjana Sukhani, etc.
The inaugural collection for the Mumbai store will highlight the use of Zardosi, Resham, Jamavar, Chickenkari embroideries in contemporary cuts, making each creation an heirloom piece.
