Love it or hate, there is no denying that crop tops are here to stay. While you might be thinking about all the crunches you have to do to get washboard abs, worry not. Here is a realistic way to wear this trend, no matter what your body type.

Don’t Show Much Skin:

Keep the gap between your skirt/high-waisted pant and crop-top at a bare minimum. Still worried that your stomach will be the epicenter? Wear a blazer over it. It will make you look a lot more covered up.

Choose Statement Baubles:

Take a style cue from Deepika Padukone and wear your plain crop top with statement baubles. Remember to keep the rest of your look stark.

Balance it Out:

While a pencil skirt might be the obvious choice, why not play with proportions and choose a maxi skirt or a full skirt? Priyanka Chopra’s stylist, Ami Patel made her push the boundaries with this monochrome outfit.

Totally not on board with showing some skin? Layer over a shirt – a crisp button-down shirt will do just fine for a twist on androgynous dressing. Else, go safe with a t-shirt.
