It’s that time of the week again when I go over all the style – clothes, make-up and hair; from a show everyone’s having a love-hate relationship with at this point. If you didn’t watch last night’s episode, try not to go any further, what you read next might make you cringe.
SPOILER ALERT!!!
Look, I’m just going to say it already – what in the name of the old Gods and the new is wrong with Jaime? One minute he’s saving Brienne and the next, he’s forcing himself on his sister? I don’t know about you, but I’m confused and crying foul! It was nice to see hunky Jon Snow again though; I’ve now had my ‘swoon’ moment of the week. Since I didn’t see much of the women, except for Margaery (still dressed every bit as revealing as ever considering her loss), I thought, why not do a quick hair tutorial?
We all love Khaleesi’s intricate braids and at the same time, Cersei’s simple but stunning hair twists, so I spoke with Pantene’s Hair Expert, Coleen Khan, and decided to do a mix of both. Nothing over the top but not too little either – something you can do everyday.
Step 1
Start with parting your hair down the middle. Once that’s done, make two sections on either side.
Step 2
For each section, French braid your hair along the scalp just up to the back of your crown.
Step 3
Once both sides are done, make the two braids meet and combine them. Continue to braid it to the bottom.
Step 4
Grab your curler (large barrel tongs will work well). Curl the bottom of your hair and voila!
Coleen Khan’s Tip
At the end of your braid, to cover the rubber band, use a strand of your own hair and clip it with a small unnoticeable hair pin.
There you have it. Now you can have Game of Thrones‘ hair whenever your want it and in just four simple steps!
Here’s a preview of what to expect next episode. Yes, Jon Snow’s in it too! Sigh…
