It is hard to ignore the statistics that one in 30 women in urban India runs the risk of developing breast cancer,” says Aishwarya Subramanyum, editor-in-chief, ELLE “But the good news is that a simple self-examination that takes only 15 minutes once a month can detect the disease. Early detection can help save lives. With these facts, it is imperative to increase awareness – we want young women, our readers, to have a healthy, happy future. And this is the way we can ensure it.”
