On BandraRoad, music is a always huge inspiration. It forms a background score as we lose ourselves in the streets. We decided to build a music playlist that influences our journey! Kick-starting our #BandraRoad Street Life Playlist are the following videos. Check them out and play them LOUD!

Inouwee – Essence

Two friends. Discovering the streets. Shopping at vintage stores and trying on accessories. They’re just hanging out and having fun. Like Inouwee puts it, “This is the essence” and we totally agree!

We love the band’s style and their sound! Stay tuned for more updates on Inouwee!

Run DMC – It’s Like That

Run DMC‘s It’s Like That is a classic, a true to form and raw example of the street! It was first released in the 1983 by Run-DMC. And then in ’97, Jason Nevins remixed it with a music video featuring a street style dance-off and it, again, ruled the charts for weeks together.

Run-DMC is responsible for bringing ‘The Street’ revolution from the underground to a pop culture status. Not only that, the hats, gold chains and untied old-school Adidas sneakers influenced, the stubborn and hard-to-get-to youth demograph. This was single-handedly brought on by Run-DMC!

OneRepublic – good life

This is just one of those feel good tracks that we stumbled upon. It so simply summarizes the #BandraRoad vibe, that the ‘Street Life is the Good Life!’

So what are you waiting for? To get this party started, get out of your cars and on to the street. Discover it all with us on BandraRoad. We’ll keep you updated on all the cool places to shop, eat and just live the good street life!

Tell us what’s on your playlist! Leave us a comment if you would want us to feature a cool shopping street or a flea market that you like, a look or even a song! Or better still, you can share it all with us at #BandraRoad!
