This week has been a roller coaster ride with so much happening in Bolly Land! Since you may not have had the time to keep up to date with all of it during the week, here is a condensed version so that you can play catch-up.
While the week kick-started with Karan Johar’s guest list for his birthday bash, we also heard about Ekta Kapoor wanting to sign Riteish Deshmukh for another negative role after the raving reviews he is getting for the promos of Ek Villain. Also, in his same column, Industrywalla gave us a scoop on this actor who is keeping a track on his contemporaries work as well.
Speaking of KJo, we’ve been hearing that Sidharth Malhotra being shortlisted for a two-hero project in Karan Johar’s next production with whispers about the possibility that Sid will be locking lips with another guy. From the sounds of it, it’ll be an interesting film!
Buuut there’s still more in KJo news: there has been a speculation about Salman Khan signing the much-talked about film, Shuddhi as earlier reported. A tabloid even reported that they are in talks about the project. Salman or no Salman, just tell us already!
This week was also the trailer launch of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania where Alia Bhatt had some sort of a wardbrobe malfunction when Varun Dhawan lifted her spontaneously. The actress was quite miffed about it, and we can understand why!
Social media is always helpful for clarifications and now it was time for Aamir Khan to tweet and tell his fans about the fake Instagram account doing the rounds. MissMalini already figured that out thanks to the horrendous grammar in one of the picture descriptions! In other Khan news: Shah Rukh Khan has been so happy as of late! KKR made it to the IPL finals and the actor’s euphoric state was an ‘awww’ moment.
Another hot blog this week would definitely be the new bride of Bollywood, Rani Mukerji (now Chopra) making her first public appearance post marriage at the launch of the Diva’ni store with ma-in-law Pamela Chopra. She looked stunning with the sindoor and chudhas!
