We were the first to tell you that Arjun Kapoor is considering joining Twitter, and now it looks like the actor has indeed decided to take the plunge! In fact, there’s a date too: 26th June, which also happens to be his birthday. Apparently, he’s joining the social networking site because so many of his fans have been requesting that he do so – we passed on your messages as well when we last spoke to him – and so wants to do this as a special treat for them all.
However, the actor did tell us that he’s fiercely private and feels like the quality of face-to-face interactions get lost since all your thoughts are on Twitter. So we’re not sure yet how much or how often he’ll be tweeting, but either way, fans of the actor should be pleased. He’s had a great run at the box office this year, too – Gunday and 2 States both made it into the 100 crore club. His next, Tevar, also seems like it’s going to be a big one – at least, he’s very excited about it and claims that they’ve tried to do something different.
We’ll be keeping an eye out on Twitter on June 26th, and so should you – he’ll make his social networking debut and that’ll give you a chance to send in your birthday wishes personally!
