This young actor has had a good run in Bollywood so far – his three films, Ishaqzaade, Gunday and 2 States, have generally been well received, with the latter two even crossing the 100-crore mark. However, it looks like in the coming months, Arjun Kapoor will be taking a short break from his acting career to fulfill his late mother’s wishes. Apparently, Mona Kapoor had wanted her son to get the opportunity to study abroad, so now he’s planning on doing just that.

Having said that, he hasn’t really formulated any plans. The actor went on record to say that, at some point, he wants to take a couple of months off to go abroad and experience life by living on his own and doing his own thing for some time. However, it doesn’t look like he wants to learn anything related to filmmaking, unlike Kangana Ranaut, who also took some time off to study. Instead, he wants to learn something new – and, in fact, culinary school is on his mind!

Whatever he decides to do, it looks like he’s most inclined towards going to a place where he wouldn’t be widely recognised. We can understand the appeal of laying low for some time, so here’s hoping Arjun fleshes out his plans some time soon and finds the time to go ahead and fulfill his mother’s wishes. In fact, he’s doing quite a bit of wish fulfilling lately – he is also listening to his fans, who were clamouring for him to join Twitter. Now, the actor will be making his debut on the social networking site on his birthday. Are you looking forward to it?
