Weddings are big in Bollywood – on screen as well as off screen. And so, it makes perfect sense to have a stunning Bollywood star officially launch The Great Indian Wedding Book, a tome which guides you through putting together the minutest details for the most important day of your life.

The lovely Jacqueline Fernandez proudly did the honours and once she was through with the formalities, we sat her down for a chat on all things shaadi.

Here’s what she revealed exclusively to Team MissMalini:

Team MissMalini: Tell us about The Great Indian Wedding Book and why you have been chosen to launch it?
Jacqueline Fernandez: Well, actually I was invited here by a friend and even though I have no plans to get married any time soon, when I went through this book, it made me almost want to change my mind because it’s so beautifully put together.

Team MM: Why do you say that you don’t plan on getting married any time soon?
JF: Right now, my priorities in life are a bit different. I’m not looking at marriage because it’s nowhere on the cards and obviously, of course, I’d have to find someone first. And that has not happened yet. But if I find someone, then who knows… it might happen tomorrow (laughs).

Team MM: So what kind of a man are you looking for to get married to?
JF: Honestly, I’m not very specific and I don’t have a “type”. I’m not looking at him being a certain height or being particularly funny or being super intelligent. I just need someone I can gel with and that’s it. Sparks should fly on the first meeting. I must know that I have a “connect” with this person and that he’s the one I want to be with for the rest of my life. So there’s no one particular type of guy because everybody is so different.

Team MM: When you say that there needs to be a connect, what does that imply? Do you need to connect on films? Music? Books? Personality?
JF: No, it’s not like that at all. We needn’t have anything in common. It could just be a fun side to him. I look for chemistry – that’s what I want! It could probably be love at first sight. It’s about chemistry. And I think, sometimes you just “know”… you just know…!

Team MM: Which Bollywood guy would you like to marry and why?
JF: (Laughs for all of 5 minutes) You know, there’s nobody who comes to mind. I’ve never really thought about it. This is a tough one. No, I can’t think of anyone.

Team MM: Ok, Hollywood?
JF: Ahhh… that’s easier… Leonardo Di Caprio. When I saw Titanic as a kid, I fell in love with him. And the fact that he’s not married gives every girl in the world hope that probably she could be the one. Also, he’s so talented. He has that certain something about him. It’s his energy, I guess!

Team MM: What kind of wedding do you envision for yourself?
JF: I think it would be a small, destination wedding with super close people like family and close friends in attendance. Just people who are important to me. It should be like a holiday for everyone. So yes, it should be nice, small and memorable.

Team MM: Which Bollywood weddings, that you have attended, have you enjoyed the most?
JF: I think it would would have to be Mohit Suri and Udita Goswami‘s wedding. It was the typical fun, Indian wedding. It was shortly after Aashiqui 2 released, so it was like double the celebration and everybody was having a super good time.

Team MM: Which do you think is the best wedding on-screen, in a Bollywood film?
JF: From among the more recent films, I loved the way Kalki Koechlin‘s wedding was picturized in Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani.
