“But first, let me take a selfie” moment on JDJ 7

Just when the challenges of week 2 took the competition ahead, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 evicted their first contestant VJ Andy, drama et al. But nothing can dampen the spirit of this dance show for too long, as the contestants were back for week 3 with a bang, competitive as ever!

So here are the 5 best performances of the third week at JDJ 7. Now, the first three are actually the best, while the last two are the ones that showed super improvement in just one week. Fair enough, right? 🙂

1. Mouni Roy & Punit

Mouni Roy & Punit

Punit proved this week that it was not just because of his luck of having a partner like Lauren Gottleib that he reached the finale in season 6, but he is actually that choreographer who can do wonders! With a Contorted Tandav act, Mouni brought out the best in her and reminded me of Punit and Lauren’s contorted contemporary last season, only better!

2. Shakti Mohan & Tushar

Shakti Mohan & Tushar

Indian contemporary and Chhau has never been as sensual before! With an act that will give you goose bumps, Shakti and Tushar were thrilling to watch as they danced to every beat with perfection.

3. Ashish Sharma & Shampa

Ashish Sharma & Shampa

Ashish‘s energy is contagious, Shampa‘s detailing is intimidating. Combining Freestyle with Thang Ta, the duo gave a performance which was perfectly balanced between fun and nail biting. The Thang Ta part, especially!

4. Karan Tacker & elena

Karan Tacker & Elena

This guy has amazing energy, and he just needs to put it in the right place. Karan Tacker surely showed a lot of improvement in his Marathi Folk and Bollywood performance.

5. Kritika Kamra & Savio.

Kritika Kamra & Savio

Kritika is a good dancer! She was good on Zara Nachke Dikha, and she is trying a lot out here. Although the judges did point out that Savio needs to raise the bar of the choreography, their Bollywood and Dandiya performance was quite entertaining.
