Recently, Team MissMalini came across a super fun post called “Kanyefy Your Dock”. It got us thinking, “Why not create our very own MissMalini Bollywood take on it?” And who better to work with than Bhai himself?! We dug into our extensive archive of Salman Khan and pulled out his most animated expressions to show you a step by step guide on how to Salman-ize Your Desktop!
1. COLLECT YOUR SALMAN KHANS
Get hold of your favourite Salman faces and save to a separate folder as .png files.
2. Convert Salman Khan Into an Icon
Upload Bhai to IConverticons. Click on the drop-down arrow to the right of ICNS, select ICNS (finder ready) and save to a new folder.
Unzip your new Salman Khan icon set and proceed to Step 3.
3. Make Sallu Magic
Go to the Applications folder. Right click on the app that you want to replace and select get info. A new window will open. Drag and drop your Salman over the app icon on the top left. This will change the icon in you folder.
Drag the app and drop it over your dock. Repeat until you have you completely Salman-ized your desktop!
PS: The original post recommends a hack called “killall Dock”, which we didn’t use. The process worked pretty fine without it.
Note: This process is suitable for a Mac OS, but you could tweak it according to your operating system.
