Actor Ronit Roy has decided that he needs time to rediscover himself and has hence switched off from social media for a while.
“Actors go senile at times. Such a time for me. So off social networking and into my shell. Will be back when I’ve rediscovered myself. Luv ya,” he posted on Twitter a couple of days ago.
Recently, the actor was in the news for his spat with his Adalat co-star Sara Khan, who accused Ronit of “murmuring something” about her, thereby yelling at him. Ronit, on his behalf, denied this, saying he couldn’t remember any such thing happening on the sets.
Well, this is not the first time actors have gone off social media. Shah Rukh Khan and Imran Khan have done this in the past too, albeit for completely different reasons.
Ronit has not only had a successful run on television with Balaji Telefilms’ Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi but also on the silver screen, with him being part of hits such as Udaan and Student of the Year. Last seen playing Arjun Kapoor’s alcoholic father in 2 States, the versatile actor will next be seen in Ugly and Guddu Rangeela.
