She owns an iPad, knows how to use it, has more 37,000 Twitter followers, 16,000 on Instagram and is described as Karl Lagerfeld’s muse and one true love. Miss Choupette Lagerfeld is a 3 year old fluffy white blue eyed Siamese cat and is by far the most famous and fabulous pet fashion has ever seen! This high flying kitty cat is living a life that most would kill for. Here’s a list of 10 Things This Cat Has Checked Off Her List Before You:
1. She Has Her Own Accessory Line.
Her eponymous accessory line is designed by daddy Karl Lagerfeld! The limited edition capsule collection called “Choupette” featured monochrome whiskered key chains, iPad and iPhone covers, fingerless leather gloves, a wool scarf and a carryall.
2. She Graced the Cover of Vogue Before She Turned 3!
Choupette debuted on the cover of Harpers Bazaar, shortly followed by a full fashion spread in V alongside Laetitia Casta and the cover of Grazia Daily‘s September fashion issue. In 2013, just a little over 2 years old, Linda Evangelista posed with this fabulous kitty for the cover of Vogue Germany, shot by Karl himself!
3. She Has a Complete Entourage
Choupette does not travel anywhere without her two maids, Francoise (her favourite) and Marjorie and her personal chauffeur driven car. The girls keep a daily record of everything the kitty does in a diary that ran upto 600 pages in under nine months. She has a doctor on call who also doubles up as manicurist.

While most Parisians don’t even have the space to keep a potted plant, Choupette has a private garden where she spends time chasing big fleas. Sigh!
6. She is Soon Going to Have Her Own Make-Up Line
Shu Uemura & Karl Lagerfeld are teaming up to launch a makeup line called Shupette by Karl Lagerfeld and “Choupette” will be the face of its campaign. The line will be launched in the coming holiday season and will include all things cute like furry lashes and claw polish.
7. She only flies private with custom travel accessories and unlimited Chanel
Choupette often frequents St.Tropez on Lagerfeld’s private jet. She loves looking at the sky trough the windows and has special cockpit access. She travels in a custom designed travel bag by Bernard Arnault who is her biggest fan. Even though she is indirectly part of the Chanel family, she despises Chanel No.5 prefers Colette shopping bags.
8. She dines with fashion royalty
When Karl’s at home, he always eats next to her.She is usually seated on a smaller table next to him. Choupette Lagerfeld does not eat on the floor! She is served her specially prepared gourmet meals in custom made Goyard or Louis Vuitton dishes. Her daily diet includes croquette and paté.
9. She Has Published a Book on Herself
Choupette: The Private Life of a High-Flying Fashion Cat immortalizes this felines lavish life in 128 pages. The book gives insights on her fabulous life alongwith essential advice from ‘peeps’. It features sections on diet, beauty, healthcare, fashion tips, secret loves and pet hates. The book will be available this September.
10. She was Catnapped by Karl Lagerfeld
Story goes that, Lagerfeld was cat-stitting for French model Baptiste Giabiconi on Christmas and fell in love with the fluffy kitty. He refused to give her and even went as far to express his desire to marry her. Quoting Karl, “There is no marriage, yet, for human beings and animals… I never thought that I would fall in love like this with a cat,”
